Our mains distribution chassis has been developed to offer a convenient and safe method of providing a protected mains supply within a rack based system. Multiple filtered mains outlets allow easy connection to instrumentation and equipment within a rack based system, allowing compliance with relevant sections of EEC and international electrical safety standards, such as IEC60204-1 and IEC61010-1. |

The mains distribution chassis provides the following features and benefits :
· Fully enclosed metal chassis. · Front panel mounted mains isolation switch to enable isolation of the whole rack system. · Front panel mounted master circuit breaker / residual current device (MCB/RCD) providing protection for a whole rack system (Note MCB only unit can be fitted if required). · High performance internal filter to attenuate mains borne interference. · Multiple IEC outlets on rear of chassis for connection to rack equipment. · Individual re-settable (thermal trip) fuses/switches mounted on the front panel to protect each of the IEC outlets and allow isolation of individual outlets. · Earth stud on the rear of the chassis provides the main earth point for the rack system. · Dimensions : 483mm (19”) wide x 178mm (4U) high x 555mm deep.
We provide two standard distribution chassis fitted with either 7 outlets or 14 outlets. The current rating of the MCB and re-settable fuses can be customer specified to best suit the system requirements. If the standard chassis does not match your requirements, for example a different number of outlets is required, we would be pleased to customise the assembly to suit.
