The GPIB distribution unit was originally developed as a way to tidy the GPIB cabling within our rack based instrumentation systems, but is equally useful as a lab bench accessory. It provides a daisy-chained connection system in a rugged metal housing which allows master/slave GPIB connections to be made with shorter cables and without the need to stack multiple connectors at the rear of an instrument. |

Our standard GIPB distribution unit is 19U (845mm) long and is fitted with 10 GPIB connection points. It is supplied with brackets to allow it to be mounted within a rack enclosure in two orientations and using standard 2U panel fixing points.
